VBIANDS
Sharon Milliman

The International Association for Near-Death Studies welcomes Sharon Milliman to its next meeting.

Sharon Milliman has had four NDEs. The first occurred at the age of thirteen; she drowned while taking swimming lessons. The second occurred in 2005; she was struck by lightning while talking on a cordless phone during a storm. The third was in 2016 while she was undergoing emergency surgery, and the fourth occurred in 2017 from an adverse reaction to seizure medication. Sharon wrote a book about her first two NDEs titled A Song in the Wind: A Near-Death Experience, and is the sequel to The Whispers In The Wind: A Poetic Journey Of The Soul, which includes the other two NDEs. Sharon has been on several radio shows, YouTube interviews, and podcasts. Sharon was on The National Geographic Channel in a show entitled “Return from the Dead” about NDEs. Recently she was on Dr. Oz on February 15, 2019. Sharon has presented as a guest speaker at a number of spiritually oriented groups, hospice groups, and churches. Sharon has a deep interest in how God moves through the lives of herself and others, making her a pilgrim and supporter to many within the NDE community as well as her broader community. She does this through listening, giving voice to her experiences, and through her inspirational writing. Sharon plans to continue her work to promote God’s unconditional love to a hurting world.

Morning Presentation:
“Lightening to Enlightenment”
Sharon had a Near-Death Experience (NDE) when she was struck by lightning. As the lightening passed through her body, Sharon felt searing pain and was knocked to the ground. Her spirit moved upward and she found herself totally enfolded within the most beautiful fluffy pink and gold clouds where she experienced timelessness and began an extraordinary journey. Sharon will share this fantastic afterlife journey along with the insights and future predictions she was given. With one foot planted in the spiritual realm, Sharon shares many amazing experiences involving Jesus, angels, spiritual guides, and the ultimate and ever-present love of God. Learning volumes, Sharon connects their teachings to her own family, relationships, pain, and triumphs. Sharon invites you to soar with her to heaven and back again. In this shared journey, she invites you to see miracles through the ordinary and extraordinary. She also invites you to open your heart and quietly listen for God’s “song in the wind.”

Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 10:00 to Noon at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. (the Association for Research and Enlightenment), 67th Street and Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach.

Suggested donation: $10.00 at the door. No one turned away, capacity permitting.

After the meeting, all are invited to a local restaurant to continue the conversation.

Afternoon Workshop from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
During this workshop Sharon will talk about each of her four NDEs, as well as several other spiritual experiences she's had which shed a beautiful light on heaven, and offer the hope that not only is there nothing to fear, but that there is joy, fun, and love awaiting us on the other side.

A donation of $15 is requested for the workshop.

On Sunday, April 7, Sharon will be the featured speaker at the Joy in Worship Service, speaking about her third NDE when she died while having emergency surgery. The Joy in Worship Service begins at 10:45 a.m., with a meditation beginning at 10:30.

All presentation sessions will be videotaped. Copies on DVD will be available for a $5 donation to VBIANDS plus $2 shipping and handling if needed.

Passover Seder Potluck

Traditional Seder Meal

Traditional Seder Meal

Sunday, April 21
Following Sunday Service
Fellowship of the Inner Light

Although Passover officially begins on Friday evening (the 15th of Nisan), we’re celebrating a Seder Potluck following our Sunday Service.

This will be a Kabbalistic interpretation of the Seder, which looks at the events of Passover not as external history but as an internal growth experience.

This will be a potluck. Non-kosher dishes are fine, but it would be courteous to avoid dishes containing pork, ham, or shrimp.

The rules regarding food choice and preparation are not being rigorously observed, although certain traditional Seder Meal dishes will be available.

Join us for good fellowship in honoring this ancient tradition.
