David Riblet

The International Association for Near-Death Studies welcomes David Riblet to its next meeting.

David Alan Riblet was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 17, 1958. A “chance” reading of Edgar Evans Cayce’s Edgar Cayce on Atlantis resulted in his moving to Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1983 to explore all the A.R.E. had to offer. Within a few years, David found work at the Heritage Store where he had a variety of positions over thirty-one years culminating in being the Mail Order Manager for Heritage’s Edgar Cayce Products. David’s NDE occurred on May 8, 1989, which eventually had consequences including a future marriage and the birth of two sons. In late 2005, David’s long-dormant spiritual side re-awakened, leading to a rekindling of his involvement with A.R.E. (highlighted by his twelve-year involvement with the Glad Helper Spiritual prayer group) and a prearranged separation from his family. His new-found spiritual practices included positive prayerful affirmations, meditation, dreams, poetry, and journaling. David’s changed vibration attracted the woman with whom he is OneHeart, Cheryl Baer Bernath. They joyously live with her son Jeshua and their dog Bear as they help each other fulfill their soul missions. David has presented on his NDE, Edgar Cayce Products, Dreams, Pre-birth Planning, etc. at venues (by himself and with Cheryl) including Virginia Beach IANDS; A.R.E. Charlottesville; PMH Atwater’s Chrysalis; A.R.E. Canada; and A.R.E. Camp. David currently is Membership Programs Manager at A.R.E., creating a Life that is like no other!

Morning Presentation:
“Living Grace on the Spiral Stairway”
On May 8, 1989 David, distraught, suicided into a Near-Death Experience where he journeyed through consciousness meeting soul family members and adding new soul agreements to those he had made before birth. Initially unable to return to this current incarnation, he asked with all his Heart to come back and help people. Through Grace he resumed his earthly sojourn and continues to manifest the many blessings in his life. What could have been a tragedy became David’s greatest blessing. David will relate his progress to date as he is Living Grace on the Spiral Stairway including the observation points that serve as his guideposts. David intends that his experiences serve as comparison points, so anyone who chooses can look at their life through a different lens, helping to create “Heaven on Earth” moving forward.

Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 10:00 to Noon at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. (the Association for Research and Enlightenment), 67th Street and Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach.

Suggested donation: $10.00 at the door. No one turned away, capacity permitting.

After the meeting, all are invited to a local restaurant to continue the conversation.

Afternoon Workshop from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Grace is ever present in our lives but too often we leave Grace on the outside looking in as we wander along life’s pathways. What if, instead, we walked hand in hand with Grace allowing Grace to minister the best resolution for everyone’s highest good with the opportunities that compose our lives? This workshop will be a retrospective on the events in our lives. We will examine how we created them and better ways we could have handled them. Very simply, walking hand in hand with Grace can assure the positive outcomes we desire. Our experiences can, as the Edgar Cayce readings suggest, “be stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks” as we co-create “Our Heaven on Earth.” Our lives will never be the same again!

A donation of $15 is requested for the workshop.

On Sunday, February 3, David will be the featured speaker at the Joy in Worship Service, speaking on subjects similar to his VBIANDS presentation. The Joy in Worship Service begins at 10:45 a.m., with a meditation beginning at 10:30.

All presentation sessions will be videotaped. Copies on DVD will be available for a $5 donation to VBIANDS plus $2 shipping and handling if needed.
